Olvídate de pastillitas, y probióticos, ya que tienes de forma natural y en su envase original todos los alimentos que mejorarán tu salud en general y las claves para incorporarlos.
Me encanta el concepto de Diversidad de plantas, algo de los que muy pocos hablan y que fue el descubrimiento más importante en el "American gut proyect".

Biografía del autor
Will Bulsiewicz, MD, MSCI is a board-certified, award-winning gastroenterologist. He's a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine and was chief medical resident at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and chief gastroenterology fellow at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. He's authored more than twenty articles in the top American gastroenterology journals and has been featured in Shape, Women's Health, Men's Health, and on HuffPost. He lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with his wife and two children.

I simply loooove this book. It has so much good information about the human body and how it works, gut wise ha! Before purchasing this book I read reviews that said “the vocabulary was too scientific or hard for the normal person”; but honestly, we should all know a little of scientific jargon. If it becomes a bit hard to follow, simply stop reading and google the term you are not familiar with. Grow your vocabulary and knowledge on how your body works! I love that Dr. B bases his advise on scientific research. He is not telling you, science is ! 100% recommended. Thank you for writing this!

Forget what you have been taught and applying on your day to day meals. Forget even what most doctors suggest when they are practising old school medicine. With a daughter suffering with Crohn’s and myself with IBS, fiber was the bad ingredient that caused flare ups of the disease.

Love Dr. B and his way of explaining things simply having watched many of his talks. His message is so important. However I must admit the style of writing is driving me mad - too colloquial and overruse of hyperbole. He is a great guy and a great speaker but should collaborate with a good writer to get the writing style into a better flow and structure.
Also, I was disappointed with the lack of detail on the science. This book is really for ordinary people wanting simple info, not people looking for a detailed look at the science. He gives his opinions on the research but it's all very much glossed over. Good for some people looking for an easy read, but I wanted the detail as I've already heard pretty much all this on his talks - which are brilliant.
Also, I wasn't looking for a diet book with recipes. But hey, might be what some people want.

This book is changing my life. As someone who has had a difficult relationship with food and weight most of my adult life, this book has become the “missing link“ in my understanding of how to feed and nourish my body for “personal” optimal health and weight management. Gone (almost overnight) were the “wrong” food cravings, I finally understood that I had been feeding myself but not nourishing myself correctly. My excess weight is melting away, the quality of my sleep has improved incredibly, I enjoy my meals way more (without guilt!). All my family have joined in .. and are loving it and seeing huge healthful benefits !! Thank you so much Dr B !! 🙏🏻

I estimate that I have researched over 1000 hours on improving my own gut health. Books, articles, podcasts, a course you name it. Honestly there is a whole lotta hogwash out there and I think I’ve read or heard it all. Everything that I have learned I have filtered down and 90% + of what I have implemented or believed to be true is included in this book. Yep you can save yourself the year of reading or listening to literally everything you can get your hands on about gut health and instead just read this book in 2 days. If I could do it all over again that’s probably what I would do.

I have already been following Dr B's advice for a year or so, and my lower intestinal problems have slowly but surely melted away. This book has some vital information - take your time with it - it will be worth it!
