Meomi is Vicki Wong (Vancouver, Canada) and Michael Murphy (Los Angeles, USA). Meomi's characters have appeared on clothing, toys, merchandise and magazines worldwide. My kid picked this book and I found it on Amazon. Although kindle version is much cheaper, my kid doesn’t feel the same to ebook compared with those hard copies. They never read ebook alone but would spend time on hard copies. Maybe better in the future when I built a ebook library for them.

My 4 year old grandson absolutely loves the Octonauts, so I ordered this book for his birthday. He was thrilled when we arrived with it yesterday, left all his other presents, and insisted that his Mum read it to him straight away, so we all sat round and enjoyed the story too! I wish the colours were a little brighter, but that doesn't seem to worry Jacob. Also, in the books the dog is called Sauci; whereas in the T.V. programmes she is Dashi, which is a little confusing for the children.

My son is an Octonauts nut, so this book was always going to be a winner. But he LOVES that we have to turn the book all the way around as we explore all the poles, and there are so many interesting animals to pore over, and details to explore. The story is great too.
