Well, quite nice.
I loved hero, yes, he was a playboy (before, we dont see it on pages), he only had his eyes for heroine through all book, caring and protective of her.
I didnt like heroine though: not my kind of girl, but...
Nervous, 2 of her previos bf had cheated , she worked for her father who abandoned her and treated her like a dirt... Just this one detail, and i dont apreciate it.

Quite nice, hero was very hot.

Sworn enemies, rival families for ages, one winner takes it all. If this intro does not make want to read this book, I’m not sure what will, but Wes and Sophia’s story is epic fire.

Who doesn’t love a good old love story where everything starts with a over the roof chemistry between two people whom are supposed to be long life enemies!? The Lockwood and Sterling’s have a decade rivalry going that culminates in the bidding for the majority of the Countess, a luxury Hotel in the heart of New York.

Weston Lockwood and Sophia Sterling have to prove their worth to both their families and come up with the highest bid to fully own the Countess. What they are not expecting to happen is for their chemistry and banter to be so raging, that they end up falling from one another.

Sophia is the heiress to her families hospitality empire, seen as weak and vulnerable by her father, she is determined to prove him wrong. She is fearless, goal driven and will not let anything get in her way, What she is not expecting is for the appointed Lockwood, to be the one that clicks all her buttons.

Weston Lockwood is the full package, cocky alpha male, with that playboy smile that will melt your heart. His protectiveness is one of the things that draws him to Sophia, as well as the fact that she is a spitfire and that is something that attracts him.

Their relationship starts based in angry fights that lead to some sexy times between the two. A modern retell of Romeo and Juliet, were we can see that not all damsels are in distress and need of saving, sometimes, it’s the knight who is in trouble.

Definitely a book I’ll recommend and one of my favourites of Vi!!

Tiene todo lo que me gusta, encima en un séctor que es el mío.
La historia me ha enganchado desde el principio y no pude parar hasta terminarla. Se lee rápido y tiene giros que siempre te mantienen pendiente de lo que pasará.
Los personajes también son su punto fuerte, sobre todo Weston, tengo una debilidad por él. Su evolución ha sido impresionante y poniéndolo un poco todo en balance, él ha sacrificado más que Sophia.
Sophia es una chica fuerte y determinada menos cuando se trata de su padre, al que apenas le planta cara. En cambio con Weston es todo lo contrario, se llevan a matar y ver cómo evoluciona su relación desde el punto de vista de Sophia es muy bonito.
Sin duda volveré a leerlo ♥

Intriguing, the feud between the Lockwood and Sterling families, similar to the Montagues and Capulets in Romeo and Juliet has lasted for many many decades. It started long before the two main characters in this story were born. Both families hate each other. And now Weston Lockwood and Sophia Sterling are both expected to work jointly to manage a hotel left in a will to both families. And at the same they have to individually evaluate the hotels assets. Neither have a controlling majority. What is their percentage? And how are they going to gain the majority?

The relationship between Weston and Sophia is explosive and extremely competitive from the very start. Weston is arrogant and dominating towards Sophia. Sophia is smart but is continually angry at Weston, the run down state of the hotel and the negative attitude of her family.

Yet, amongst all the problems, angst, distrust and rivalry Weston and Sophia discover points of similarity. Sexual chemistry and feelings are fuelled by their antagonism. But will small sparks of love develop between them? Will the feud continue? Can change happen?

Yet again a lovely easy read from this author. Here we have two people from two rival families. Weston Lockwood and Sophie Sterling. Their grandparents have history over a hotel owned by the deceased Grace Copland. She and the two men formed a partnership. Both men Sterling and Lockwood fell in love with Grace . She loved both but could not choose. Years pass they grow apart and eventually Grace passes away leaving equal shares to both but neither have the majority shares to run the Countess Hotel. The last 2%is owned by a charity wanting to sell it and give one over the other the right to run the hotel, by majority. The story of Weston and Sophie is one of trust turmoil, trust and secrets with delightful chemistry between the two. The characters described are all so endearing, funny and totally believable. A great storyline that is well written and easy to follow but with lots of banter between the two main characters, that total holds the readers interest.

Omg I so want a Weston in my life. This is a real swoon sweep off your feet tale, nothing bad to say. There's the initial resistance to romance, the back ground bad family history tale, and the hot male lead who has a very romantic heart once he sorts himself out. Loved the way that although Weston was dominant in the bedroom, he was not a overbearing and all alpha, but he had sensitive and caring side, alongside his baggage.
If your looking for HEA with a nice story line, romance, humour and some tears then I highly recommend you read this it certainly out smile on my face 🙂

I breezed through this one sitting, it was not what I expected and yet it was so satisfying and such a nice read.
I was pleasantly surprised. I loved both characters. If you want a badass female heroine who takes no shiz from people, then Sophia is your girl. Weston was so cute and such a nice, charming male lead. It was so cute and just such a nice little book to breeze through.
The writing was amazing, the storyline was fantastic, can't recommend enough!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Characters are what sell romance books for me. You can have all the hot smouldering sex scenes you like but if you don’t like the characters as you don’t get their chemistry it doesn’t work. But these characters are great you root from them, you love them.
Also it was great to finally have a Brit make an appearance and use some good old proper British swear words!!
