Great price but you get what you pay for. They are comfortable but just way too thin so I ended up returning. They feel more like yoga pants. I can’t imagine they’d last very long if you spend any time in the saddle. The material they used for the knee patches was decent and if they used that material to make a full seat breech it might not be so bad, but right now you can see the outline of whatever panties you are wearing plain as day. The stitching was also not that great. The contrast stripe down the side is flattering but you can see through it and it is not actually right in the middle as shown in the picture. Mine was more toward the front of the thigh and so it didn’t give as much of a lengthening look. I’m 5’3 114 lbs and small fit comfortably (I prefer a looser fit and this was fine).
They run VERY big! My daughter wears a small in every riding pant we have purchased. We ordered one of every color thinking they would be perfect! They are HUGE. I don’t even think an XS would fit. Definitely size down. Not true to size.
Like some other reviewers stated, I LOVED them, but they are sheer on the sides (at least the black pair, which seems consistent with the other “sheer” comments). Really disappointing because they fit great. I usually wear a medium and got a small. Maybe I’ll return and try a different color
Things I liked: Price point They are truly plus size Breathable and cool for hot California summer riding.
Things I wish were better: I’m 5’8 and these are about 3 inches long on me I just wear them high on my waist and scrunch the extra at my ankle doesn’t bother me in my boots.
Material is closer to a workout legging material then an actual breech thick material but for $25 bucks I didn’t have high expectations.
No “support” I’m plus size and this breech did me no favors my belly pooch etc looks worse then if I’m nude and everything is just out. I’m keeping the breeches and will just wear a longer shirt. All I do is trail riding and weekly lessons so for the price these work.
Overall these riding tights are inexpensive and will get the job done in a pinch but I would highly recommend saving up your money and buying a more expensive higher quality pair when you can!
I am 5'3" 150lbs. 39" hips. Thick thighs. 31" waist. The medium is a better fit. Doesnt shift when i squat and move. Doesnt slip down at waist. But, and this is a big but, it is incredible sheer especially on the sides and top of the back. Underwear is visible in the mesh area (might have been better with black underwear) The large is not a great fit as leggings go as the waist slips down a bit, but since the fabric isnt stretched modesty is restored. So if you don't mind the sheerness, or will wear a top that covers what you want covered, order your true size. If you will need additional modesty size up. As for me, even with the large I'll be wearing a longer top over suspenders to hold up the leggings. Good for the price, but if your budget allows maybe choose a manufacturer that makes more opaque models. Edit - I strongly suspect the fair skinned model is wearing something under the leggings for the picture. A foundation garment, or tights, will fit underneath as an option.
I picked my normal large size. They fit me as if I bought a 2x. Maybe I didn’t read the correct reviews that may have stated this? I did read that the mesh does all the way to the band which is weird..I recommend matching your underwear to the color of the mesh. If I didn’t need them as fast as I did, I would have returned them for a smaller size.
